Congratulations to Emily and Doug on the birth of their baby boy, Wes! Dad was a wonderful support and fantastic question asker, and Mom did an amazing job! After a VERY slowly progressing labor, she was ready to “call the game” when baby Wes decided he wanted to be born vaginally after all! It was a wonderful surprise for everyone, and I feel honored to have helped out! Emily did an amazing job finding that extra strength and energy in the end! I didn’t get a photo with baby Wes at the hospital, so I hope to get one during our postpartum visit! Congratulations Mom and Dad!!
I had a doula when I had my daughter and I loved the whole experience. She was amazing and I would totally use her again. The whole thing was just perfect and beautiful.
